AMAZING! Not sure where to start. The Troyer Group led by David Troyer knows their business and his professional Team is completely dedicated to helping their clients. We feel lucky to have been one. David helped us successfully sell our home in Los Altos, CA. Before choosing a realtor, we conducted extensive market research to see who would be the best choice for us based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote listings. David and his firm stood out by far as the best Los Altos had to offer: his social media presence was extremely strong, and we could tell he put a lot of work into his listings. We spoke with David first and then met with him at our home. He and his team spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house would take awhile to sell because of the 2021 COVID pandemic. David made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don’t (but should), like giving us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, video, websites and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. The Troyer Group’s hard work and knowledge of the local market and what it takes to sell a home really paid off – our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. Before writing this review I read through other Yelp reviews. Honestly the 5 star reviews previously posted say it all. I agree 100% with all of them. The entire team is outstanding. David, Tina, Allison, Laina and Baidra. Everyone of them are superstars in their field. We couldn’t have been more pleased with all facets of preparing, listing and selling the house. Five days after listing the house we met with David to discuss 11 offers! This is during the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic! I totally agree with other reviewer who stated they felt like they were the only client David’s team was working with. That’s how much attention they give each client. Questions are answered immediately-no waiting over night for an answer to a question we felt needed immediate attention. I would also like to mention we felt everyone at Troyer Group was honest and sincere in their desire to make the entire process go smoothly. You will not be disappointed with this team of highly trained professionals. Everything posted in these reviews is correct ten fold.

I had a great experience working with David and the team of professionals at the Troyer Group. I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing realtors when looking for the right person to sell a Los Altos property. David stood out for his knowledge, professionalism, and expertise. He wasn’t pushy like a few of the others, and was honest and straightforward about his entire strategy. I’m glad we signed with him!

From listing prep to staging, marketing, negotiating the sale and escrow, David and his team have it all covered. As a first time seller, I had plenty of questions and they were a great help every step of the way. Ashley did a terrific job managing the upgrades, Tina and Baidra did an excellent job making sure all the escrow and paperwork was in order. They were very well organized, knowledgeable and responsive to our concerns.

When it came to the sale strategy, David presented us with several options along with his reasoning and realistic expectations for both given the current market conditions. Thanks to his negotiating skills, the property sold with multiple offers above asking (and well over what other local realtors had for ballpark estimates). We hit a few snags on our side but the team made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

David gave me advice how to quickly package my house before sale, includes remodeling and staging. All I need to do is to approve the proposal, his extended teams will handle the rest. I was in hurry to sell, hence set up an unrealistic deadline. From moving out of my house to final sale, it only took less than 30 days. The house David presented to the sellers are amazing. My friends say that they couldn’t recognize that’s my old house! And we received 7 offers and close to 300k over the asking price.

As we went through the process of listing and selling the home, there were decisions ( when to list the house, price, prep work, staging, design etc)  to be made and things to get done.  David’s team was always available to help and guide us along the way.  Given their experience and professionalism, we largely took a hands-off approach (knowing that we were in good hands ).  They had a clear plan for execution and were always ahead of what’s next.  This can only happen through experience and commitment to excellence.

When you work with a team that does many transactions, there is always a concern that you might not be able to receive the attention needed for your home.  Our experience with David’s team was far from it.  We felt like we were their only client.  Baidra, Tina, and Laina were always a step ahead and always available ( phone, text, email ).  Similarly, when something needed David’s attention, he responded promptly, was well prepared, and we felt reassured with his advice.

There is a distinction between doing the right thing vs doing things right.  With David’s team, throughout the process, we felt the whole team was doing the right thing and not just doing things right.

My wife and I closed our new house with David Troyer and his amazing team almost exactly a year ago, and after enjoying the year-long monthly subscription of Harry and David fruit boxes that they gifted us afterwards, I definitely wanted to write this review.

From our very first meeting back in the fall of 2018 to the close of both transactions, David and his team were nothing short of exemplary.  We worked with them on the buying side (we purchased a home first), and then on the selling side (we sold our old home second).  Both processes were extremely smooth, and David and his team get superb marks for communication, organization, clarity, honestly, swiftness, and friendliness.  For example, the renovations to our old house were not only completed shockingly quickly, but on time, and *under budget*.  I honestly don’t know what could have been done better.

A big thank you to David, Lisa, Debbie, Tina, Laina, Baidra, and everyone else on the team!

Had a great experience working with David Troyer and his team.  I really appreciated the portfolio of service providers they had at their disposal which made it easy to get the home prepared for sale.  They also had all of those costs go through escrow so there was no cash outlay upfront which was great and they paid for staging which was another great benefit.  David balanced optimism and realism about what to expect to regarding possible outcomes.  In the end, my house in Los Altos sold in less than a week with multiple offers.  I was very pleased with both the service I received and the final sales price.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the work done by the entire team at The Troyer Group.  We sold our Los Altos Hills home in just a few days, with multiple offers and a fast close.
With their constant assistance, advice and assets (like a reliable painter, a skilled handyman and awesome staging co.) we were able to prepare our home for open house in only 4 weeks.  
Laina the marketing guru kept us appraised of all her efforts and the resulting metrics; Tina helped with early arrangements and expeditiously handled all the later escrow-related paperwork; and Debbie held our hands throughout the process, there for us no matter the question or challenge faced.
David was the primary agent and was capably backed up by Baidra during the well-attended three days of open house.
Never once did we feel pressured by David to make the sale or accept a price below our target.  It was obvious that he was a total expect concerning every aspect of our town and its past and present market conditions.
The entire process was made as easy and pleasant as it could possibly have been, due to the competent and principled team at the Troyer Group.

As empty nesters, we decided to downsize after living in Los Altos Hills for over 20 years.    After interviewing several realtors, David Troyer was in our top two choices.    It was a 51/49% decision to go with another realtor.     David was extremely professional, gracious, and ethical while we were under contract with another realtor to sell our house.    We did not have the same experience with some of the other realtors we interviewed.    David’s professionalism was the deciding factor in selecting him to represent us on the buy side.    

Our plan was to rent a home while we looked patiently for the right next home for us.    We had very specific desires and requirements.    David’s deep knowledge with the real estate industry and the South Bay Area really shone.   Cathy on his team was extremely responsive in helping us find a rental property.     But after two weeks of looking, we unexpectedly came across our next home.   David’s expertise was very apparent in the negotiation of the price, the terms and conditions, and the timing with our sale transaction.    We had a couple of road bumps on the sell side, David was superb in balancing being honest and transparent with our seller vs. over-reacting which would result in anxiety with our seller.    Bottomline, we closed escrows on the sell side in the morning and the buy side in the afternoon, one day later than our original contractual date.    

David was great communicator, generous with his time and extremely responsive.     Thanks to Kristen, Baidra, Cathy and Victoria, they were just as responsive and helpful in every step of the process.     The Troyer Group is a well integrated execution machine, and also very pleasant to work with in a typically stressful situation.    We highly recommend them.

“We came across David’s company through yelp reviews. We’ve searched for the top agent in Mountain View, and we’ve found him! He came personally to view the house and spent a great amount of time discussing the proceedings of a listing. He answered all our questions cordially and truthfully. He was optimistic but did not promise miracles.

His greatest strength is his highly professional team which handles the entire process from start to finish. His project manager immediately came up with a timeline for all the major milestones that need to happen and on what day in order to put our home on the market within two weeks. They’ve scheduled inspections to be completed before the house went on the market, so that these can be viewed by the potential buyers and won’t hold us up at the negotiations. We decided to have our home professionally staged. David’s team packed up our furniture and staged our home within two days. A professional writer created a wonderful description of our home. A photographer and videographer created amazing pictures and video of our home. The video began with a birdseye-view of our home from a drone flying over it! Also, a 3D virtual walkthrough showed our home on the computer like you are walking through it at the moment. Finally, the marketing team also did a great job trumping up visitors. Our home went on the market on MLS on Thursday, had the broker tour on Friday, open house through the weekend, then offers were collected on Wednesday. We received multiple offers and accepted one on the spot. We’ve received a price which was much higher than the asking price and went beyond our expectations! Mini and David were most helpful in all respects and we feel very happy with the house we got. It’s a fixer upper but they provided contacts for contractors who were able to give us an estimate on the repairs before we made an offer on the house. They also had lots of local contacts when we wanted to learn more about schools and neighborhoods. They were very fast in responding to all our requests, flexible with scheduling meetings with us, phone meetings and in person, etc. Mini and David both chimed in with their expertise at the right moments to make sure all our questions were answered.
